Dear Valued Guests,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce, today at 9 pm the closure of DeLuca. Despite our best efforts, the lack of support and consistent business has made it impossible to continue operations.
The unfortunate reality is that DeLuca never truly recovered from the challenges it faced. The lingering effects of past management decisions, the absence of professionalism, and the shadows of old habits—like the "ghost of Porta Via," where free meals were once a given—created a difficult environment to rebuild trust and sustainability. Those who lost that privilege never forgot, and their absence was felt.
From the beginning, we fought to create something special—a place where great food, warm service, and community could thrive. But without the necessary backing, the foundation simply wasn’t strong enough to withstand the obstacles we encountered.
To those who supported us, even in small ways, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your loyalty and patronage meant the world, and we wish things could have turned out differently.
As we close our doors, we hope that the passion and dedication we poured into DeLuca will be remembered, and that in the future, independent restaurants like ours will receive the support they need to survive and flourish.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With appreciation and regret,
Angelo Ferrante
